Thyristor dc electric drive of ukrtesh-mp series for MHM
THYRISTOR DC ELECTRIC DRIVE OF UKTESh-MP series for MHM
Thyristor converters of new series UKTESh-MP produced in Ukraine in a component assembly method using the finished and tested component parts, cardboards and software well-known manufacturers.
The thyristor drive delivered by MIDIEL Ltd. can be a nucleus of the modern hardware and software complex of mine hoist installation control, since it’s compatible with a wide spectrum of advanced means of automation (hoist installation monitor, “Human-Machine” system, data logger, system of shaft signaling and control, mine dispatching system, etc.).
Typical electric drive of a mine hoist machine includes a DC motor with an anchor fed from reverse thyristor converter, and excitation windings fed from non-reverse thyristor exciter built in the anchor converter cubicle. The converter is fed from a power transformer connected to a 6kV net. A high-speed DC switch and a smoothing Ò-reactor of special design providing sharp decrease of the current pulsations of a current and essentially limiting the components of the higher harmonics, are connected to the anchor circuit.
The exciter and other auxiliary consumers are fed from a 380V net. The converter is of completely digital fulfillment. The highly effective control of speed and torque meets all requirements on speed and accuracy of adjustment. Auto-adjustment of the current circuits of anchor and excitation essentially simplifies and accelerates the adjustment process. During the auto-adjustment the drive test run is carried out, its parameters and feedback are optimized, etc.
The microprocessor control system includes software and hardware I Os for control units of speed and current, formation of control pulses, diagnostics and indication, communication with the hoist control system.
Converter UKTESh-MP is passing the stand tests with simulation of all operating modes of mine hoist installation, on the industrial base of the
Scientific research institute “KhEMZ”, a leading Ukrainian enterprise dealing with converting techniques.
