KhEMZ motors of ADCh…U3 series for the variable-frequency drive
AC motors with a short-circuited rotor of new ADCh…U3 series are specially designed for feeding from low-voltage static frequency converters with 690V at 50 Hz. The motor fulfillment is closed, with forced ventilation (using an attached “rider” fan, or with ventilation from an external source).
The motors series covers the powers from 630 up to 1250 kW at frequencies of 375, 500, 600 rpm, that allows to apply them as drives for MHM and small MAF.
Overall and installation dimensions of ADCh coincide with AN-4 series of high-voltage phase motors. During the MHM modernization this allows replacing of phase motors with resistors in the rotor circuit without rebuilding the foundation.
