The frequency converters
The ACS1000 converters are highly effective completely digital microprocessor controlled TFC with direct torque control (DTC).
Besides, the new powerful semi-conductor gates such as IGCT are used for the first time, which makes the drive circuit simpler, more effective and reliable.
Advantages of these converters are:
- High power factor (cos f = 1),
- High efficiency,
- Lower set power of the transformer,
- Low level of harmonics; harmonics are basically eliminated by software. The drive does not require any additional filtration.
