Replacement of main part of the hoist machine

In August, 2005 MIDIEL Ltd. has supplied to “Molodezhnaya” mine of Donskoi GOK, Kazakhstan republic, the main part of the mine hoist machine 2C6x2.8U, as well as equipment for the main part replacement. In September the replacement was fulfilled by Donskoi GOK staff under the direction of MIDIEL Ltd. specialists. The replacement works in conditions of the working mine had been planned and were fulfilled with the minimal interruption of operation – less than one month, and finished by September, 25^th. Old, physically worn main part of the hoist weighing 220 tons has been lifted and taken out with the help of the carriage during one working shift. In one week after removal of the old main part the new one was installed, as it took time to turn the drums of the new main part, to replace the gear cartridge on vertical shaft of the motor and to center the new main part with the motor. Assembly and setup of the brake system took five days.
